ELEV-8 V2: build a photographable version for Parallax?

Hey there,

We're incredibly short-staffed right now and we're about to open up a few positions. More on that to follow this week.

In the meantime, we've got needs that I believe our customers can take care of in exchange for hardware. Right now, we need an ELEV-8 V2 built up for "museum quality photography" without the control board since we are offering this product two ways (with and without the Hoverfly OPEN). This means you'd build the whole kit per instructions and send it back to us. In exchange, I'll provide you with a $200 Parallax credit.

You need very good soldering skills, a tidy workflow, and ability to read and follow our instructions closely. The schedule is to have it back to Parallax within a week.

If you're interested in doing this, please send me an e-mail this morning with a sentence or two stating your ability and availability.

Need a domestic USA person for this job, preferably somewhere on the West Coast to reduce shipping time/cost. We will pay for shipping both ways, and provide a return-trip box for your fully-built ELEV-8 V2.

Thanks,

Ken Gracey

Job filled! Happy to have Jim for this role because of his ELEV-8 and R/C helicopter experience. He's got the right methodical engineering mind for this project.

Send one to erco also, and see which turns out better.

He's not doing anything these days. :)

Yes, Mr. ValeT! We both need to know that you have to focus your attention on school this year, though. You've got a heck of a future ahead of you without us getting in the way of your day job right now. Haha :)

You snoozed, you loosed! I know the feeling.

DON'T send one to Erco, unless you want it to come back with a flame thrower strapped to it. You should see the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe he just finished for his twins. Leaves scorch marks on the lawn every time they play in it.

I appreciate your concern Mr. Gracey, but don't worry, I am very good at time management. But if there is anything that I can do to help out, please let me know :)! I promise I will be the most enthusiastic "employee" ( more like long-distance intern, hence the quotes ) you can get!
