I tried clicking the "Download the Latest Learn Folder" link on this page and got a 404 error.

Andy should be able to fix this in a few minutes. We've been making many improvements to the Learn folder as we prepare to release SimpleIDE 1.0 and I believe this folder got caught in the action.

Yes, the Learn folder zip download at:

    http://learn.parallax.com/propeller-c-set-simpleide/update-simpleide-workspace

...did indeed get caught in the action. It is now re-upped and ready for download. Sorry for the inconvenience.

When will SimpleIDE 1.0 be available for download?

We are testing and bug-hunting now, hoping to release next week.

Dock that guy's pay. That'll larn 'im.

Hmmmm.... On a more serious note, maybe Bump could install a link checking script. That Learn site has got more than a few links on it now. It's grown exponentially in the last year. I see from the headers on the Learn site it's running Drupal 7, so this freebie script ought to do the trick:

    https://www.drupal.org/project/linkchecker/git-instructions

Would get the Lindsay's back to writing great tutorials rather than tedious link clicking all day long.

I tried downloading the Raspberry Pi version of SimpleIDE 0.9.45 and followed the instructions on the Learn page. The download and installation went as described except that the installed SimpleIDE does not seem to support Spin. When creating a new project, only C and C++ choices are provided. The 0.9.45 version is supposed to include and support OpenSpin. Is there some way I can fix this?

    Hi Mike,

Click Tools and select Project View. Then, new and open should give you Spin options. When you have your top file selected, make sure to use the Set Project button.
