I'll see that these are fixed, Jim. Also, we still have several Hydra kits left in stock. - Ken

Enter "Hydra" in the Products search box, no Hydra kits are listed. :(

They're in our "warehouse E". To get one, you'd need to call us and ask to buy one from warehouse E (as in "eBay"). Tell the sales staff that I mentioned the availability of a few of these on our forums. They're returns from Fry's Electronics and have some box damage but are otherwise complete.

Yah, the Quadrovers are in Warehouse E, (East Coast). A super secret warehouse on the east cost. Now there may be a Super, Super Secret Warehouse on the West Coast that house the Holy Grail.

Now that I have the correct solenoids and the missing hydraulic lines, I can give it back to the Tech School I originally delivered it to. They had trouble sourcing the missing parts. I can't blame them, I took me two months to get a person who could tell me the new part number for a discontinued solenoid number.

Haha! E for "East Coast". If this is the case you better show up at Parallax and retrieve another several thousand dollars of inventory that belongs to you.

Very cool, Jim. I didn't realize you were setting this Quadrover up for a tech school. That's a generous use of your time. I'm pretty sure that MattG scoured our remaining parts inventory before he sent this unit off to you, else we'd have provided more backup hardware.

    Ken,

Given this was that last production unit, it was a doner BOT. Some missing items, as I would have thought they got sent out for warranty replacements.

David Carrier sent me a good BOM to get started with.

The shipping box had 37 Tires and Tubes that sold on ebay in no time. That payed for the shipping of the huge box to me!

I grabbed Quadrover.com domain recently and am going to put up the dxf files and all the Spin files associated with the Quadrover.

Hopefully there are still Universities and individual users that are still in process of using this great platform.

    Jim

Is the Hydra a dead platform?

Absolutely not. It is still being sold and supported by the developer. Parallax just does not sell it from their store anymore.

Link to the XGameStation site in Post #1.

Links that Parallax still has up:
