Powering a Stingray with a Li-ion Boe-Bot Power Pack
I have a Stingray that I've been playing with, and I wondered if I could power it with one of the Li-ion Boe-Bot Power Packs from Parallax. I've always wondered how much current the Stingray motors draw, and the best information I can find indicates that at 310RPM and no load the current draw is 0.27A, but that the stall current is 3.5A (or 4.5A, depending upon where I look). I imagine there would be some load at startup too, so moving the Stingray from stop would draw more than 0.27A I guess. The Li-ion Boe-Bot Power Pack has a 2A fuse. Does that mean if my Stingray runs into a wall (despite my best intentions) and the motors stall, I'll blow a fuse in the power pack?

Thanks - I'll give it a try then.
