Now if they can just organize the sprawling drifting chaos which is the human experience, they may be on to something.

    Swarms of three-legged things have got a lot cuter since War of the Worlds and Day of the Triffids!

    Fascinating, must look at their self-assembly algorithm in more detail.

    Are those CR2032s? I couldn't help but think about changing 2048 of them lol.

    No they are rechargable lithium cells. An IR instruction makes them reveal their SoC
    on the RGB LED so ones needing a recharge can be rapidly identified. They hook onto
    a 10-way ganged charger using the hook on the top as one electrode and one of the legs
    as the other.
