Sadly it rained last night in Taiwan. This was July 15th in the Chinese Lunar calendar. The Chinese astrologers consider it a day to best do nothing at all and anything begun of this day will turn out bad.

Why so? Well it is the full moon of Ghost Month. Everyone was out burning ghost money and giving offerings to departed spirits. My mutt smells the smoke and refuses to go outside for the day.
