Just saw an link with dashcam video of massive gas explosion in Kaohsiung on Saturday. So my question is while realizing Kaohsiung is probably a fairly sizable place, is: Loopy are you OK?

    Yes, Kaohsiung had about 10 tons of propene leak into the local sewage system and explode.

    Since we have a major series of elections coming up, the debate about who is to blame and why will go on and on for some time to come. I'd rather see the government just set some good policy for managing safety of petro-chemical pipelines and define how their right of way through urban areas should be appropriately managed. It is pretty obvious that this one was buried about 25 years ago and mostly forgotten.
