Radio Shack's $10 Coupons Expire

The Shack's "Spend $30, Get $10" is good, but don't wait too long to use the coupons, they expire. FYI, you get a receipt-like coupon from the store, which is good for $10 of merchandise. Can't use until a week after your purchase, IIRC. My coupon got smudged (not sure if it was me or the issuing store) and the expiration date was not readable. Went to use it today and the clerk said it wasn't being accepted, so it was "probably expired", although she couldn't tell me any dates. My initial purchase was less than a month prior, so apparently the window is somewhere around two weeks. I asked her to check with her manager, who allowed the coupon to be used somehow. So don't wait, and don't take no for an answer.
BTW, no smoking deals were had on any Parallax or electronic gear today, but a few good sale prices. Nabbed a $7 Radio Shack T-shirt (soon-to-be collector's item?) and Radio Shack batteries. 36-packs of alkaline AA and AAA cells are $9, so that's 25 cents a battery. Better than their $7 watch batteries, certainly.

EDIT: Just noticed the tag had $10.00 retail.
They rebranded most to "Enercell". I have been using their AA and AAA batteries in our race radios (9 total) for three years, and I can say they last a long time. The only reason I buy these over Duracells, I can usually find a 2-fer at Radio Shack, that knocks the price down. We go through 20+ batteries a weekend.
I also use the Enercell rechargeables. I have AA, AAA, and 9 volts that are still going good after three years.
I'm kinda' phasing out the AA's in favor of NiZn now.

Awesome
Enercell has long been Radio Shack's brand name. They own the trademark, etc. It doesn't tell us who now makes them for RS.
My concern is that RS has changed up a lot of their inventory lately -- like dropping some Parallax product for other Chinese imports. I am hopeful they haven't done the same with the batteries. They're not making much in order to hit a $9 price for a 36 pack of AA's (Duracells are as much as twice this).
According to Wikipedia, Enercell as a brand is being phased out (though it may just be a matter of poor wording; another way to read it is the Enercell brand will no longer be used for adapters, chargers, etc.)
