Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the correct spot for this, if it is not i will remove it and place it where it should be.

I am using propeller project boards for my development but there is this message on the link to the board

link http://www.parallax.com/product/32810

"This product is currently under revision. We expect to to stock the board again in the future."

I was wondering if there is an estimated date for re-release?

regards

Jeff

See also the post on Project Board of 7-11-2014 number #16 icon1.png Re: Project Board
The product is under revision. It is not discontinued.

There are two changes. First, two diodes were specified for much less current. Next, there was a VGA signal trace too close to the clock trace, causing VGA display issues. Using the VGA circuit was interfering with the Propeller's clock circuitry.

It's going to take a total of six months to get the design done and back into inventory.

I am certain we should have these by early January.

Sadness, January, I really like that board, what was nice was the 40 pin header layout. but I built a pcb board the takes the proto board prop chip and maps it to a 40 pin connector but I was trying not to add any more pcb boards. I was looking to finish this project by end of august. Do you still have stock? or suggestions or inventory that using the layout prior to revision?

    regards

The 40 pin connector on the Propeller Quickstart is compatible with the 40 pin connector on the Propeller Project USB board, that may work for you.

If you really need the project board, the "Project Board Idea Pack" shows as having 13 in stock and includes the Project Board. http://www.parallax.com/product/910-32810

If Parallax doesn't have an item in stock then you should be able to find it at a reseller.

I often find who is selling an item by doing an internet search.

BTW, Radio Shack has QuickStart boards for $8 if you want to try it. Just be aware they are Revision A.
