Can't edit address on Parallax.com

I need to update my mailing address on Parallax.com but there appears to be no way to do this. My old address is visible in the "address book", there is no option to add, delete or edit the address. Clicking on the "Edit" tab allows me only to change my email address, password and time zone.

    Rich, I'm calling Bump to take a look at this thread.

    Oh, I guess I should reply rather than just submit a cheeky response.

    This was left off because the whole user experience portion on the site is in need of some love; however I don't see any harm in allowing people to edit their own addresses since they're yours. You should now be able to enter into the address book and change your addresses.

    The other edit tab is currently only for editing your user account information, so that's why you didn't see any address stuff in there.

    Thanks for attending to this. There is still a problem. I can now edit my address, but when I click the "save" button I get a message saying that my profile has been saved yet my old address remains, it does not get updated.

    Interesting... checking into it.

    I can't seem to duplicate this problem on my test machines/browsers.
    Might be a caching problem?

    My next step will be to check revisions, but currently it seems non-repeatable.

    I tried again on both Safari and Firefox, same result. I then tried deleting my address. It asked me if I was sure, said it could not be undone. I continued with the delete, but my address is still there just as it was before.

    Rich, did you clear your browser cache after making the change?

    Bump, maybe something like one or several of these on that page would help:
    <meta http-equiv="cache-control" content="max-age=0" />
    <meta http-equiv="cache-control" content="no-cache" />
    <meta http-equiv="expires" content="0" />
    <meta http-equiv="expires" content="Tue, 01 Jan 1980 1:00:00 GMT" />
    <meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache" />

    No, but opening up a different browser to view the supposedly changed address would have the same effect, right?

    I should think so. I doubt that browsers share a single cache. Your ISP might be caching stuff further upstream, however. Mine did this for awhile, but I was able to ask them not to cache certain URLs, and the problem went away.

    I guess the proof would be to have someone at Parallax check your address to see if it actually got changed in the database.

    Something like that might help, if that's the problem.

    There were 4, now I see 6 addresses a lot of duplicates; 16 revisions, so something is happening.
    I'll take some pokes at it from a few other testing accounts once I'm out of Parallax HQ, just in case it's something here allowing me to be so successful in my tests.

    It wouldn't be the strangest issue I've had to look at in recent memory.

    I tried again at my parent's house, same ISP, different account - same result. So then I used my iPhone's 3G network (I turned wifi off), same result.

    We have now switched ISPs. I still cannot edit my address...

    Just an update - this issue still persists. It still shows my address as Bellevue after changing it.
