Both support 125Khz tags, according to the documents. I have used them with the Parallax tags, but they are not proprietary, so I imagine the SeedStudio tags will work fine.

I know the Parallax readers support EM 4100 family. I don't know enough about the protocol to say if they will support EM 4200.

Mybe a Parallax person will chime in.
