Hi Mike, I do have code both in Spin and Forth that I could dig up. Here is a link to one of my Tachyon Forth documents dealing with the LCD part of this display which I normally treat as a serial device.

Here's a schematic and a hookup overlay of the unit if that will help.

D0..D8,RS,LCDEN are your main LCD signals along with CONT which is normally PWMd contrast control but you can simply set the pin low. The unit may be programmed via a PropPlug type connector into PL1 (outside/bottom row).
I don't think your PCB had the audio and USB connectors fitted but I'm sure I put a couple of those connectors in the box of parts. You can even mount one of the 5V switching regulator module onto the board in place of the non-fitted 7-pin module with a slight mod.
