I made this contraption some time ago using an old style PCB, some brass standoffs, a breadboard and a QS. It is nothing fancy but helps keep everything more organized when I am prototyping and I need to put my project aside for whatever reason.
I have to admit I would like to see a proto board for the prop along the lines of the BOE for the basic stamp and the SX tech board. Not a lot there. All you get is a board with a small breadboard and all the pins of the micro are available for use.
Oldbitcollector had something called a Quickstart Sled that was quite nice. It had hardware to mount a Quickstart board and space to add a breadboard next to it. I ordered a couple. Not sure if they're still available.
Mine's not quite as pretty but works great. Just stuck to a piece of foam board. Made 3 others for kids that I'm teaching. Also have ready made plugs for VGA, PS2 and a LCD module
I *might* have a few Cogsleds (plates only) avaible. I probably won't restock them as we are re-opening the store. If someone is willing to pay postage, PM me. I'll see if I have a few left on the shelf next week.
Great minds think alike - here's my quickstart breadboard.
I had a plastic box with a lid that the board fit in perfectly, so I can take this box and my laptop pretty much anywhere and try to figure out why my latest program isn't working right.
I thinks that's well done too, Ive got an excess of all sizes of breadboards. I think I'll hacksaw one in half as they are all long boards. That 2xQuickstart plus a prop in the middle looks a bit serious for me to use

Ten for me, please, Andy. What the heck, you're a nice guy, let's make it a hundred!
A hundred times naught is... naught!

2 Quickstarts and a DIP40 Prop on one of Bill Henning's SchoolBoard II's
You get some extra buttons and switches and LEDs. I have another one set up with a regulated power supply on one side and MicroMites in the middle.
(Sorry for the bad quality in the first 2 pictures - the fluorescent lights really freaked out my iPhone today.)
I have a few of Jeff's and they are really handy!
