PROPELLER Editor/Development System and Windows 8.1

Hi
I need to make some code changes in my P8X32A project.
I have a new computer that runs Windows 8.1
It appears that the most current version of Propeller Editor/Development System is 1.3.2

Documentation in the download part of the Parallax site says it's compatible with Windows 8.
Since I'm using Windows 8.1, are there any issues to installing the Propeller Editor/Development System ver 1.3.2
on my Windows 8.1 machine?
I plan on downloading directly from the parallax download area.

While I can still use my old XP computer, I feel the need to be current with my new computer.

Thanks for any install/setup advice.

Garyg

    Have you tried it already?
    If not why not?
It's probably quicker to download and try it than to ask if it will work here first.

Of course, if you do that and it turns out you have a problem then we have something to talk about here.

    Good luck.

I'm running Win8.1 without any problems.

There's also the cross-platform PropellerIDE which works in Win8.1, too.

    Thanks guys
    I've installed Propeller Editor/Development System is 1.3.2
It installed without trouble on my Windows 8.1 machine.
At first startup, it would not recognize my Quickstart, but I downloaded the buttons demo program
that I first used after I purchased the Quickstart board.
When I loaded the Buttons Demo, the Quickstart was recognized and the program loaded without trouble.

I did not see the cross-platform PropellerIDE on the Parallax site.
Saw some message threads concerning what I think Jon is talking, but don't know where to find it.

I think however, I'm good to go.

    Thanks again
