If they are posted at all, I think they belong in the classified forum though I'm not sure they really belong there either.
I would be concerned though about this inexpensive device frying my costly microcontroller.
@Duane: this does taste a bit spammy, but from what I recall, Wanita of ICstation behaves herself far better than most, maybe one post a month, and with useful stuff. I'd say under those circumstances, it's beneficial. Especially now that the P'lax Daily Deal is history!
I'll agree.
As I said, I like ICStation and I like Wanita. I don't mind the occasional post by ICStation, but I'm guessing you and I are likely in the minority concerning this topic.
I guess, I'll let the moderators decide.
What do you mean the Daily Deals are done? There's one today.
Edit: You're right. I should have never doubted.
. . .uh, this thing says "for Arduino" on the graphic image. Really doesn't work "for Propeller"?
Erco, I thought you might have seen something comparable.
Prob be here next month..
I have a pair of these I bought years ago and never really got working. They seem to simply take an RS232 input and transmit it without any enhancement or monitoring for error.
You need TWO pairs for duplex communications with two separate antennas at each end unless you want to set up an antenna switching relay.
Not much in the way of documentation and no antenna included. You have to create your own and figure out what an idea 433Mhz set up should be.
They may work well in some situations, but the XBee is really a more reliable solution.

Thank you for your support and help!
I'll be more careful for my future posts.
It seems that I cannot edit the title by my side.
All the best!

Hi Wanita,
For your information, we aren't "parallaxers". We are "Parallaxians".
I'm going to try a couple of the $0.99 RF kits.
In case any aren't aware of the fact, these intended to be used for one way communication.
For two way communication, I like to use these nRF24L01+ transceivers. Since I already have a bunch of the nRF24L01+ modules, I'm going to get a few of the SI24R01 modules to see how they compare with the nRF24L01+ modules.
Thanks for Making Easier Possible.
