I actually got my first Parallax kit (What's a Microcontroller) from RadioShack when I was 9 years old, though I have had a lifelong passion for electronics and tinkering (the first 'real' electronics kit I got was when I was 7, it was the Electronics Learning Lab from Radioshack)!
Happy Birthday young one!!! I have to say kudos and hats off to you. My Grandson will be 10 in October. I am slowly getting him and my Granddaughter in to the world of electronics and robotics. The problem is that it is really hard to keep them interested for very long. Not sure how you did it but you are inspiring to other young ones.

(Ravenkellen and Microcontrolled are both getting older and don't love us any more :frown:)
- Ravenkallen has not signed in for over a year. He probably still has the best hair around.
What are the odds, but Happy Birthday to both of you!
Shame on. Maybe bomber will be tracked by NAS now. Not a good name to have now a days.
Thank you all for the B-day wishes!! I can't believe it's been almost 5 years since I first got started with Parallax!
And we thank you for all your great posts!
(So you were 10 years old?) !
