$7 USB/Serial Adapter Cable

I just got one of these cables and it works fine on my Windows Vista and Win7 computers to program a BS2 on a BoE. It's a Prolific 2303HX chipset, so it does NOT work on on Win8. $7 delivered, US seller, 4-day ship.

    Does it act as a direct replacement for the Parallax version without additional software ? I try to sell old Parallax boards.

    No additional software is required. You may or may not need the Prolific driver on the included CD. I had it on my computer from a previous USB adapter. Some OS'es probably already have the driver in their library.
