Interesting... In IE11 the link does not work if I click the image but if I right-click it and then click "Open Link" it works.

I have only been using IE11 since March. Not sure what the deal is but viewing the source I see that the html reads:
<div class="content">
<div id="post_message_1275485">
<blockquote class="postcontent restore ">
This should be a link
<a href="http://www.tek.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
<div class="size_fullsize">
<img src="http://forums.parallax.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=109339&amp;d=1403735679" border="0"
alt="Name:  20140523_111201.jpg Views: 9 Size:  46.0 KB" class="thumbnail" />
</div>
</a>
if everything went well.
</blockquote>
</div>
</div>

and the SRC does not point directly to an image file but rather to a .php file...

Turns out I had Parallax.com set in the compatibility view list. I can't remember why I did that, but it was to resolve another issue.

Think it was this issue http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php/146230-Windows-ate-IE-10-not-supported-CR-ENTER-not-working-in-Posts?p=1166086&viewfull=1#post1166086

This revision of vBulletin 4 did not have the image link capability so it is somewhat of a hack. I think IE support was improved in V4.22 as well, so that's probably why IE chokes on it.

When I clicked it my DSO became depressed and looked worried, but not as worried as my credit card.
