Hi I installed the Active bot.. and ran the Initial test file to moved the wheels and only P27 kept on lighting up. I have checked the connections and will move the motors to the bottom of the body as recommended.. Are there any other troubleshooting you can recommend besides checking the restors

regards

As a quick check, you could take the wheel off that is not responding, and put your finger in front of the sensor, then take it away to see if you can make the light turn on/off. If yes, it's the fact that you need to move the motors. If no, there is an electrical problem somewhere. Check the resistor colors (red-black-orange), and make sure they are both firmly inserted in their sockets. Also, check the plug connections on P14 and P15 and the other ends of those wires.

    Andy,
will do.. One quick question? There is only one way the wire gets plugged into the sensor? It is grooved to insert in one way only.. Just wanted to double check

Yes, that's correct, the sensor cable and sensor can only plug in one way.

That's not the case for the other end of the cable, where it plugs into the Activity Board's servo headers. For P14 and P15, make sure the black wire is closer to the breadboard and the white wire is closer to the edge of the board.

It seems that I need to move the motor. I created the space, however the P27 and P26 LEDs have issues lighting up
