You still have a bit of time before you hit the half century mark, but I will wish you a future HAPPY FIFTIETH BIRTHDAY just in case I am not around at the time.

I just realized that people born in years B.C. would get younger with each year! (Being as the calendar counted down to the year 1...)

    whiteoxe,

What's up? You seem to be young enough to remember the year of your birth but too old to know what year it is now, or subtract, or something.

If you were born in '66 you are just a whipper-snapper:)

    Very old socks........

Let's see, I ran a mile in under 6 minutes for my 50th birthday, something I couldn't seem easily to do in high school, but had to.

I suspect you will know your age when you get closer to 66 as the Social Security checks begin to flow with that birthday.

That's quite a feat, Loopy, congrats! I'll have to give that a shot one day soon. At 53, I'm running 5-6 miles a day in some good hills at ~7:30 pace with a group. I could still probably do a single mile at 6 minute pace. Will advise!

And happy 50th BD, whiteoxe! You must be using integer math and rounding up...

I'll remember not to get you offside magnus, that sounds like a very viking name ans i just finished a book about the history of Vikings. Pretty much unbeatable bunch of raiders come settlers ;)

ps. I had sometimes wondered where they got the name bluetooth.... it was named after a Viking or king of Denmark and Norway, Harasld Bluethooth !!!

If you were born in March of 1966 you are only $30 years old.
