BS1 carrier board and a BS1-IC

hi, do you put the module in the carrier board with chips toward battery or field? don't want to fry it yet....

From looking at the BS1's schematic, it looks like Vin is on the far left (looking at the chip side of the board with the pins pointing down). So the chip side of the board should be facing the battery.

JK, kudos for asking. You had a 50% chance of living up to your name otherwise.

I still like the BS1 a lot, it's plenty capable and I've used it in numerous fun projects.
