When you delete a post, it doesn't really go away, it just gets hidden. Such "deleted" posts can (and sometimes do) get read by us moderators. If you really want your regrettable comments to go away for good, edit the post first, replacing your snarky text with something benign. Then delete it.

It was your deleted post that prompted this thread. BTW, I just about died laughing!

"Love ya, mom! See you on Sunday with my laundry!"
OK, now this is just rude.....most of us appreciate a good laugh.....can User Name PM it to us if we ask? We'd have sign a non-disclosure - no retaliation agreement or something like that.
I take it your mother wouldn't mind being called rude.

She's earned the right!
In our family PC is considered the new McCarthyism.
Some only say sweet words since they are more mindful that they may some day have to eat them.
Others do not dare eat with the same mouth they talk with.
I take the lazy approach and do not spit words that are less than truth as I see it. Lies are just too much trouble to try keeping up with.

Whilst being polite should be the norm. I agree with trooks, the PC bullying is just intolerable. Not that I'm suggesting that happens here.
Heh, I found this one while trying to work out what had happened to today's popcorn topic. I presume it blew up and was removed from public viewing?
