I bought the Kindle, (Amazon), version, (sorry Parallax), as I need some reading as I take my Mom to various doctors.
Anybody know how to access the McGrawHill site:
http://www.mhprofessional.com/quadcopter.
Is there a code in the printed book?
I'm about half way though the book, and I'll try to give a review in a week or so.

No yet.... but, probably in time.
BTW - are you flying your Elev-8 yet?

Sadly, not yet. I got involved with a contract job. You can't turn down work.
She's 95% complete, but my Hitech Optic 6 died and I am now trying to find a replacement on ebay. I have WAY to much 72 MHz stuff to make the jump to 2.4 GHz right now. I'll have to bite the bullet sooner or later.

are the download files
There where there all along. My eyes refused to see them before.
I'm liking this book!

Fifty bucks for a <400 page book seems rather steep, but it's nice to see most resellers, including Parallax, offering it at a pretty good discount. I hope the high cover price doesn't hurt sales. I guess the trend now is to have a really high cover price, then discount the heck out of it. (BTW, authors of this type of trade book get a royalty on the money received, not on cover price. I'd be able to retire if it were on cover price!)
Speaking as a book author (though not of this title), if you like the book, I encourage you to post a thoughtful review on Amazon, even if you didn't buy it from Amazon. It does help.
BTW, Parallax price $32.99, http://www.parallax.com/product/122-80000
Gordon, I hate giving up my email account. I keep at least 10 of those spam email accounts going.
I bought the Kindle version, ($28.99), only because I was on the road with someone else driving. Can't read the Spin Code on the Kindle, but I downloaded the book to the PC.
I will give this guy a raving review on Amazon as soon as I'm finished. He goes into so much more than a Quadcopter.
I'll post a review here and it will be the same on Amazon. Ken can use it on the web site also.
