The first one isn't Parallax made, but is "Parallax Powered", it uses the BS2 circuitry. It's the Sumo robot made by Tab Electronics for the Tab Robotic series of educational materials from McGraw Hill. Not sure if it would be a good buy...... you need at least a Windows 95 computer and those are hard to find.......

For the second one, I guess having hole patterns for Parallax boards makes it a Parallax Robot right? :innocent:

I have a Tab Sumobot and it works fine with my Windows 7 machine. The electronics are actually pretty good. While the mechanics are solid, I didn't like them. So I reused the board on a different robot:

Like Andy says, the first is one of the Ben Wirz / Myke Predko designs for the Tab BYO robot packages. They were done with the BS2 (or BS1?) in mind as a programmable component, and I recall came with a coupon for purchasing from Parallax.

The second one is keyword stuffing. And it looks like it worked!

I actually had 2 of those boards. I only have one now as I put the other in a certain traveling box.
