image overlay on a video signal

Greetings all,

Been awhile since I last posted. I was wondering if anyone has done any work to overlay a image such as a target cross on a output from a ccd camera signal ??
What I was wanting to do is make a heads up display using a IR cam an small screen for a airsoft gun scope

Here's a link to Phil's custom character overlay thread. You could use Bresenham's line algorithm to compute the pixels in your custom characters.

Phil's code is for the Propeller Backpack but you could copy the overlay section of the schematic and reproduce the circuit on your board.
