Sorry but its been so long since i used the prop Im starting from example code 1 all over again using the windows Propeller tool. Which is up and running fine. But when I was searching for the software the first download i came across was Propellent software download and i read its description and thought it was the tool i had used. It wouldn't run after unzipping and installing, some missing something error. Both versions. I searched again and found the correct editor i had used in the past but am still curious as to what that first download was.

I was in Ubuntu Linux at one point and was going to download the BST as I thought /think its able to run on Linux but the thing i like about Ubuntu is the software download part of it where its made super easy for anything they have in that section to be able to search for something and one click install it. I'm not familiar enough with Linux to download programs using any kind of more manual install commands. But i could probably youtube it later.

Propellent is a command-line compiler/loader for Spin and PASM. The Propeller Tool is a full-on development platform for Spin and PASM that includes an editor, compiler, loader, and integrated linkage to the Parallax Serial Terminal program.

Thank you for explaining. I will steer clear of Propellent for now. I have plenty of catching back up to with Prop experiments and code and also got the Scribbler BS2 going for the first time today which was good to watch.!
