I reposted my Table#2 scheme over on the other thread. Table#2 caters for mooching for one or more cogs, and also caters for slot sharing between co-operating cogs. Default is OFF so no mooching/sharing is done. Its not complex. ANd remember, any silicon is only used once, not 16 times.
I've been reading up and down on all these schemes for all this time. As a very minor hobby user I'll just post this one summary with regard to my needs: The Heater SuperCoc scheme is the only one which doesn't give me a bad gut feeling. A P16X32B SuperCoc would solve all the needs I have identified for my projects w.r.t. the current P8X32A, and more. There's only a single real issue, as Cluso99 said in #36: "The only problem I see with limiting Cog 0 as being the supercog is that each cog has a specific set of DAC pins." (a result of the changed process as I understand it). An issue, but a relatively minor one.
I would buy the supercoc variant tomorrow if I could.

Too many schemes and names of schemes. I'm told they are simple to grasp but, well, here we are.
