Need Assistance Please

I have a Toddler and want to add my Ping ultrasonic sensor. I'm fine with the electronics but need assistance with the Stamp Code.
Does anyone have or know a resource for existing code to accomplish this?
Thanks!

How do you have the Ping))) attached to the toddler and the stamp and what do you want it to do?

I've not yet hooked up the Ping to the Toddler. All I was saying is that this portion of the project should not be difficult. It's the code for which I would need assistance. If no code exists I will not bother to pursue.
    Thanks for the reply.

As I recall, the Toddler may have come with examples of how to use a Ping or other Ultrasonic sensor in the manual that came with it. You can download a free PDF copy if you don't have it. There may even be a .zip file of code examples.

If I am wrong, there may have been a Nuts & Volts article that covered using the Ping with it. Or there may be code with the Penguin (similar to the Toddler) that can be a useful reference.

    Try here...

    Tobar8 wants a ready-made, drop-in "solution".
He made that clear in #1 and re-emphasized in #3.

    Let it go.

I'm the Toddler creator and I don't think we have any Ping))) code published anywhere, though we've all written it several times about eight years back. If you look long enough you'll find it, somewhere.

Should you decide to do this on your own it's actually pretty easy. The complexity of coding a Toddler lies in the tracking of movements mid-stride or mid-tilt. Unlike a rolling robot which can change direction immediately on a sensor input without much consequence, a walker as this one needs to either finish the current movement or reverse it. I'm sure we could take a look at the code and give you some quick tips if you posted it here.

I'd love to help, but as Ken knows, I don't own one of those coveted and highly-prized Toddlers.

    Sigh.

    Hint, hint.

I think there should be a limited edition production run in S3 yellow. :)

Getting back to the original post, what is it you actually want to do that the IR sensors can't accomplish?

Hope we didn't scare Bill away with our OT stuff.

I am beginning to think that the Moderator should be able to take back stars.. demote posters for inappropriate behavior. PJ might even agree with me...

We all tend to get off topic sometimes. I was just just trying to bring it back on topic.
