Rocket Payload for STEM

Hello all, I am a teacher in New Mexico and I am working on redesigning a project for students. Here is what I need: an already built board that has 3 axis accelerometer, temperature, pressure and a second board that the students could build (a DIY board) to test radiation (geiger counter). It would be the best if both boards were connected to a single location to collect the data so students could download the data from one source. I have done a good amount of searching online and it seems the components can be found individually but having trouble finding everything in one location and the software to allow easy downloads. I added a picture of the previous project to give an idea of the end result. If you could help with this student project it would be appreciated. Thank you, Tyson

Those don't look like Parallax boards that you have pictured.
Since you want to work with so many different sensors, you might want to consider using a Propeller Project Board USB for the final design but use one of the Propeller boards with a breadboard for development.
This post should be moved to the Sensors forum soTracy Allen can respond to it.
Tyson, Do you think a uSD card would have trouble from vibrations or acceleration?
When you say "easy downloads" would removing a SD card be acceptable?
Duane, I do not think an SD card would be damaged at all. We have had video cameras onboard many times. That would be acceptable. The problem we have had with downloading the data is the connection and the upload/download software. The pins where the connection is located is very sensitive and 9 times out of ten it might not work. Same problem with the software when uploading/downloading the code.
I posted in the Propeller forum. Thank you.
Welcome to the forums!
I will have to delete the duplicate post in the Propeller forum as it's against the rules to cross post, (double posting).
Here are the rules:

That said, I can move this thread to the Propeller Forum if you like.
Tyson,
That's totally up to you, but, as Duane mentioned in post#4, there is some talk over there along the same lines that you are wanting. IMO, that's were it should be if you are committed to using the Propeller. It is well suited for the tasks you have in mind.

Propeller board are available in a variety of styles:

I prefer the Propeller Project Board as it has a lot of space for components, and a space for a uSD card on the back.
