This guy divyang38 contacted me thru Youtube. He hosts a lecture series, I glanced at a few of his videos on kinematics. May be helpful to some. Textbook info from what I saw.

The couple of minutes I watched looked good. It's always amazing how formulas can make rather simple concepts look hard. I found myself back in my math classes having to remind myself "I know what those symbols mean. I understand this, don't freak out."

    Thanks for the link.

    Are you back from vacation?

Still on vacation near Cincy, thanks. Home Friday.

Agreed, the math & Greek symbols lend an air of both legitimacy and complexity. Book smarts only go so far, you gotta get your hands dirty and get some practical experience under your belt. There's no substitute for common sense.

Be sure to pop in to see my pals at WKRP. My entire fashion sense I got from Herb Tarlek.

On that video, I had to keep reminding myself that not only did I not understand the symbols, I never did understand them. "Robot go. Robot stop." THAT I understand.
