Manual Calibration of Laser Range Finder?

I recently ran the calibration protocol on the LRF and methodically went through the steps. The new slope and intercept that came out of the calibration curve was actually worse than what was originally in there. I repeated it 5 times, and it keeps giving the same values. I wrote down the original slope and intercept values before I started, and I'm curious if there is a way to manually enter these values for those two variables.
Thank you!
Update:
I created a graph to compare actual distance readings vs. measured. The blue line is the LRF data, and the orange line is the actual data. The way the experiment was conducted was the LRF was fixed about 800mm above a rising surface. So technically, we'd expect the most error at the beginning of the experiment.
Thank you!
