Looking for an App

I just started using my new Tablet last week and was wondering if anyone knows if there is an Android App that allows you to use either a stylus or even your finger to jot down notes and then when done turn them in to typed notes. I know this might sound absurd but there are apps to do pretty much anything one wants so I thought I would ask.

If the original Palm Pilot could do it, I'm sure there's an app for that.

So far all I am finding is an App that works with a Samsung tablet for doing this but none for just a standard Android tablet.

I still write Palm style characters by accident on my iPad hehe.

OK. I found a few apps to my liking. However, the Stylus that came with my Tablet is cheesy and does not work well, even when pressing as hard as I can. Any suggestions for a GOOD stylus that will let me write instead of having to use my finger nails?

It is capacitive. However, the rubber ball does not work worth a darn. I found one that has a clear tip type stylus for $30.00 on Amazon that will hopefully do the trick. I read a few reviews and it seems pretty good. Will give it a try and post results.
