Gents I need to thank all you who have helped me getting my pieces and programs together
Beau's programming circuit and other helping hands have me now operating 2 independent LCDs
32PTU and I also added a GPS receiver just for the fun factor :-)
Brought the whole setup with me from Utah to Z

he helped with my understanding of the GPS message content.
I do have an additional question about the GPS unit: I have found that the time received from the receiver
is correct upon arrival here in Switzerland. The unit has been without power for maybe a week or more
so I'm a little puzzled as I don't see any battery backup?
And since I' at it is there a way to read a register to see which COGs are used? Some of the programs I
borrowed are using multiple COGS and I just wanted to see if I have any left, as I allocated a COG to each LCD
maybe not really necessary but again just for fun :-)
Thanks again
