Thanks all for the well wishes. I did in fact have a great day today. I ended up getting TWO flying contraptions (a small twin prop park flyer and a micro quadrotor that flies unbelievably stable) among other presents.
I got to spend most of the day in my garage re-organizing/sorting my plethora of totes, toolboxes, and cases on my workbench to make the space useful again. Apart from realizing that I have quite a bit of "if I keep this I can make ??? project" type junk, I discovered that I have quite a bit of new/unused hardware left over from the development of client projects going back to 2010. I have a good size tote full of stuff for the forums and/or eBay that will keep a "birthday fund" rolling for a while. Created a rather large pile for e-waste as well.
