4D Systems Touch Screen to register Tank water Level Opinions

I am using the 4D systems uLCD-28plu touch screen to run a dual relay (kit #27114) system for an onboard water system under my truck. I have the water pump and solenoid worked out but I am having trouble visualizing or realizing how I can get the tank volume and temp. I am trying to avoid the leaning curve of making the uLCD a slave to a host controller. I would like to continue using the drag and drop 4D Workshop Visi Genie. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
