Propeller and VGA don´t work

Hello, good morning:

I have a TFT with VGA connection, connect the propeller with the adapter and program my P8X32A, the screen starts, and after a few seconds turns off and stops working, the screen turns off and then not work until I turn off the P8X32A or reset, the question is that I connect the VGA computer monitor and it works perfectly with absolutely no interruption. The chip that runs the TFT is the RTD2660.
Someone has something happened?
Any idea?
Thank you.

That is the TFT:

    Welcome to the forums!

Is it just using an unsupported scan rate for your display? Do any of the other VGA demos run with this display? Some use different resolutions at a given scan rate. I have seem some displays that don't support a specific resolution at a certain rate.

This may or may not help. But simply put, not all VGA devices are of equal quality when booting up. Some seem to be very stable and others seem to get lost and refuse to boot.

I have 3 VGA monitors from different sources and all behave differently. Could it be that the TFT device is just a problem device?

Some of brands of VGA are notorious for poor firmware.

If you re using the Prop Project Board USB (32810 rev.B) you have an interference problem with the HS & VS lines. You have to drill out the X1 trace on the PCB. See earlier posts on how to do this.

Hi I've had, first of all thanks for your posts, other schedules VGA and does the same with everyone, I've tried also to write to the EEPROM for later disconnect the recorder usb (working with proto-board) and is doing the same.
What is more strange to me that the VGA computer work without any problem. I have no idea that it can happen, as I ke buy the developer to put him back to drivers RTD2660.

You'll have to find or design a driver to work with your LCD chip-set (RTD2660) and at a resolution for your 5.0 screen. @ 480 * 272

Have a look at ray's logic to see examples of interfacing to various LCD screens. hopefully that will give you some ideas.

Not sure if this will fix the issue, but this is the thread PropGuy2 was reffering to:
