how can we transfer image using xbee module?

i have an image saved in my pc.i just want to send it using xbee module to another xbee module.is it possible? if yes ,how?

    Convert the image to serial data and send it between the two xbees then return it to an image at the far end.

    The XBee basically sends serial data from one end to the other, so you can read the file byte-by-byte and send those bytes over the XBee connection. Of course, something connected to the XBee on the other side has to be expecting this data and know what to do with it.
