2.8'' TFT Touch Shield V1.0 & Propeller ASC

Has anyone tried one of these with the Propeller ASC?

I bought it at Radio shack and it was after I did some searching that I found it was outdated by V2.0 and my Leonardo is not compatible with it.

Googling hasn't found anything useful.

I have one of those. Any good ideas on what to do with it?

Only need some data-sheets and code to make it work (famous last words).

There is a way. It's just not set up for "fast food" convenience. When I come up for air, I'll make a demo.

Have you looked at THIS THREAD? Not having the memory means much would have to change but seeing as this is a controller driven display you might be able to reuse a lot of code. Getting things up and running is always the hard part!

Yeah, I was looking through that again and it's amazing what he has done. It's over kill for my simple display idea. As popular the arduinos are I'm wondering if there is a way convert arduino code to c so it could be used with simpleide.

Yeah definitely go through the thread SwimDude0614 links. We pretty much got the LCD figured out and I'm pretty sure I know why the ASC can't drive the touchscreen unless either the shield or the ASC gets some jumpers installed. I had been thinking of doing this but got busy at work so never bothered.
