Dunno 'bout that; I'm amazed at the talent here, and just trying to keep up with you guys. If I can get into Servo, ANYONE can. Consider writing up some of your projects. Gareth has pretty much written an article within his thread on S2 mods, I bet Servo would love to have printed that. Highly recommended, editor Robin is a nice lady, capable and very easy to work with. It's a nice way to share your knowledge with like-minded folks. Servo pays a decent rate per page, so you can subsidize your hobby and keep buying more Parallax parts.
Your relentless dedication to writing content "here" , helping a myriad of "here" fellows has rewarded "You" at the right time at the right place with the right just rewards....... enjoy....... highest regards G
I always seem to get virus warnings when I go to the main page for the magazine. Anyone else get that? It might be a false positive from Avast.
In the other thread you note they left off an F in your byline. So we'll have to compensate by renaming you ferco. I don't know their circ numbers, but maybe in about 10 or 20 thousand posts we'll have made up for the error.
@Gordon: Thanks and Robin promises to give me three F's next time... . And no, I've never received any virus warnings while visiting the Servo site.
It's curious that until today, the first half of the article was online at http://servo.texterity.com/servo/201403/#pg67 but now it only shows the magazine cover. But since I don't have an issue yet (B&N doesn't even carry Servo), it's nice to see the cover bigger than a thumbnail.
Looking at the pic, I realize that most of the stuff pictured is the cheap Chinese stuff I get off Ebay. The Spider kit, PCB, 9g servo, Li-Ion cell, 1/8" programming jack, USB 5V booster. I'll have to try harder to push American in future projects.
