http://www.ebay.com/itm/10PC-Nidec-4-Wire-2-Phase-Mimi-stepper-motor-micro-stepper-motor-D6mm-worm-/371005768143?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5661aac1cf

That's 10 motors with a 6mm (slightly less than 1/4") diameter, for the hefty sum of $3.79 + shipping...
(Shipping is $0.50 for a single pack of 10. Bigger savings when you buy more... )

The same seller has some steppers with worm drives, too...

Good find, but too small for my lumbering bots. Looks to be 4 connections, so this controller would probably work: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php/154007-10-IR-Remote-Control-Stepper-Motor-Driver

I'm going to order a few different sizes and models.
(There are even cheaper ones from the same seller)
There's some with metal cogs, and some with worm drives or other long axles.

And he's got some slightly larger ones with a 100 to 1 reduction gear in metal...

But as I don't really have any plans for them, yet, who knows when I'll test them...
    (Too many projects, already)

I figure the smallest should be good for 'motorizing' 1:72 scale models and such...
(Imagine a P-51 Mustang on a display stand... The canopy slowly slides shut, the control surfaces move from side to side, the propeller shudders to life, then spins faster and faster, the elevator moves - and possibly the model point its nose up, then the landing gear retracts... )
