Help needed updating Date/Time in USB datalogger data file

Hello Parallaxers! This is my first post.
I have a BS2-IC in a Stampduino (27140) running the demo code for use with the Memory Stick Datalogger (27937).

The code runs OK but the Date/Time of the log data file is 12/20/2004 12:00 AM.

I need help to set (update) the BS2 (RTC?) with the current Date/Time. I am new with BS2.
Is there someone who can help me with that?. Thank you. Palliser.

I just read that the BS does not include a real-time-clock and given that I need to keep track of time, I am afraid that I have no choice than to interface my BS with an external RTC. I think the best option is the DS1302. -P

Welcome to the forums! An RTC such as the DS1302 would allow you to time/date stamp data within your data file, but what you're showing in the screenshot is the date/time stamp for the file, which to be honest, I'm not sure that can be changed.
