Nice Looking 4x4 Roverbot
I've been contemplating building a Mk III 4x4 because the Mk II could use some improvements. The biggest issue is that it needs separate power for the servos and electronics because as the batteries discharge the electronics get prone to being reset. A lower priority issue is that I'd like a better suspension and have been considering rocker bogie. But in my search for some ideas I came across this:

I would like to make a simple outdoor GPS bot sometime soon, the smallest one possible, using a Tyco rebound chassis. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tyco-RC-Mini-Rebound-4-x-4-Car-Only-/261396743142?pt=Radio_Control_Vehicles&hash=item3cdc75c3e6#ht_578wt_1166
I definitely think current spikes from four motors are a big part of my problem. So the quickest solution to my problem would be to reuse the bottom part of the current 4x4 and bolt on a new top with all new electronics and power. While a rocker bogie suspension would be neat, it probably wouldn't be worth the time investment.
The wheels are kind of hacky and yet inspiring. Here's a further description: http://www.inklesspress.com/robots_5.htm
