Prop Pro development board and Simple IDE

I've searched the forum but can't find any info on a config file for the PPDB. I have installed everything and the "Hello World" runs fine on it but I find it odd that the PPDB isn't listed in the project managers pane?

My "C" project will eventually wind up on a Prop ptoto board but for testing out the hardware I want to use the PPDB.

Has a .CFG file for the PPDB be created anywhere and I just missed it??

I suppose that is an omission. Will add PPDB.cfg to the board list for future packages.

Meanwhile, PPDB is a generic board that ships with a 5MHz crystal. Use GENERIC or HUB board type (see page 38 of the SimpleIDE user guide for Board Types).

    OK :)

This one is packaged with 0-9-45+ https://propside.googlecode.com/hg-history/spinside/SimpleIDE-User-Guide.pdf

You really should update your package. I've considered making a SimpleIDE (without propellergcc) package for this purpose.

Well I must be too simple for "SimpleIDE" as the one you provided the link to also ends at page 37 and no board types are listed. A couple pages up shows how to create a .CFG file however.... Also, I am starting from scratch today with GCC and download everything this morning from the Learn website and alas, no page 38....

Ooops. I'm so sorry for causing trouble.

    It's on page 33, not 38.

I saw 37 in the previous page and thought "ok, the next page is 38" ugh.
I'm not used to seeing pages numbered as 32 of 37 - that is a Parallax addition.
