The P1 is nothing new ...

The P1 was invented in 1898:
The very first Porsche, the P1, was an electric car!
This predates even the Baker electric car. When I was a kid growing up in Indiana, there was an elderly lady in town who owned and drove a Baker, which was her only vehicle -- probably bought it when it was new and never gave it up. Even today, there's one here in Port Townsend, on exhibit at a defunct gas station. 'Dunno if it runs, though. According to Wiki, the Bakers were powered by nickel-iron batteries, invented by Thomas Edison.
Everything old is new again!

I always thought the original P1 was the AI computer program that became sentient.
Imagine that, taking over all the computers in the U.S. with all that 5,800 megabytes of storage available!!!!!!!
The hydrogen powered cars are very efficent. Honda had come out with one that had a power station at your house. 275 miles round trip off of one fill up, and delivered
up to 100 amps of power to your house, to cut down on electricy bills. Was scheduled to be released in California, but never was..........imagine that.
