    I was sure this was going to be about one of Festo's amazing machines.

    Still cool. I don't think either would do well outside in a breeze.

    Am I mistaken or was that a tiny little servo driving the wings? If it was a servo, I am truly impressed that it was able to fly, even if it was teathered. This would be a really good use for some sort of electrically operated synthetic "muscle" for lack of a better term.

    If this is any indication, the next twenty years will be amazing!

    It occurs to me that the "tether wire" is likely adding some stability (if not downright support) depending on its flexibility. I see a lot of balancing robot videos where a stiff tether is used, and I wonder how much cheatin' is going on. I wonder the same about many Kickstarter videos.
