XANADU WINS!!! Up for ANOTHER IFM auction??

I found a "classic" (at least in my mind) BS2 OEM while cleaning house. I was going to sell it for $15 in the classified section but decided I really don't need $15.

So, this baby is up for bidding until Midnight Eastern Standard Time on Monday, January 13th.

Whatever you bid will go to the Interfaith Food Ministry (like the current Auction here.)

Bid early and often and if you are the high bidder, make your donantion, send me proof and a mailing address and the BS2 OEM is yours.

The cleaning continues, so there may be more!!

Good luck!!

Looks like a nice solder job, too. I'll shill this bid with an honest $9.75.

$25, donated yesterday if that counts.

Wow, xanadu - you have vanquished me! :-) Of course it's up to the auctioneer of this auction, but I'd think that should count as a valid bid - but it's up to the Master of This Thread :nerd:

Now I'm saddened because I don't know how I'm ever going to be able to get one of these

I know, erco, that's exactly how I feel about my Bugatti!

As for the auction, I've been debating about Xanadu's generous, unrewarded bid and I don't think he should be punished for being too quick to be giving freely of his treasures.

As it stands right now, $25 is the highest bid to Mr. Xanadu (who's handle brings back mixed emotions about a roller skating Olivia Newton John.....sigh....)

It looks like our bidding activity has died.....I warned you, the announcement and subsequent celebrations could be difficult......

If I was a real man, I'd bid higher and use this OEM BS2 to control my new plybot, but I don't want to spoil xanadu's fun. :)

You're man enough just admitting you saw Xanadu (the movie) when it was released in theaters...so, that's at least two of us!

That was probably what some of the critics said.....

See what you kids are missing!! Not just Disco but ROLLER DISCO!!!!

This is like a sad time capsule of the late 70's and early 80's...ELO, big hair, Hammer pants (before Hammer had them)

    Mind-
At first I was very impressed by what you did. :thumb: But that quickly went away last night when my wife says "what's that disco pic about and you silly forum people?

    So I clicked on it.

Big thanks for dredging up memories whose location in my mind had gone lost. Yeah, thanks.

CONGRATULATIONS XANADU - You so totally Rock!
    My turn...

So, do the skates still fit???

I'm not recommending anyone do this but do you know what you get when you Google "Cliff Richard Olivia Newton John"??

If it's anything like Googling "military intelligence", then I am right out.

Sweet! Let me know how much shipping is, I'll PM you my address :)

The whole xanadu thing is nothing compared to the song they pinned on me as a child (named Jon).
