I was wondering how do you get access to the SPIN code?

In the S2 Program Maker, click on the icon in the top bar with the white arrow pointed to the yellow legal pad. This will open up the S2 Spin source code in the Propeller Tool.

Do you want to see the Spin code generated by the GUI? If so, go to the top toolbar and select the item towards the middle that looks like a piece of notebook paper.

If you hover over it, it will show "View the Propeller Program"

EDIT: Ken types faster than me!

Nevermind I figured out the code... And finally ,on this subject, how do you revert back to the GUI?

The GUI should still be open in a tab at the bottom, (Windows).

To get back to the GUI, you have to exit the Propeller Tool. Also, any changes you make to the Spin code will not be reflected in the GUI program.

Phil, I'm able to switch back and forth between the two.

Of course the Spin code will not be updated with changes to the GUI.

    Maybe I misunderstood your response.

Wow. That's not supposed to happen -- and doesn't on my WinXP system. The idea was to prevent multiple instances of the PropTool being spawned by the GUI by hiding the GUI completely when the PropTool is open. Which version of Windows are you using?

    Windows XP SP 3.

EDIT: OK I tried to replicate it.

    Opened S2 GUI.
    Viewed Code from the toolbar.
    GUI disappeared.

So it works as you say.

I must have opened the GUI after the Prop tool was opened.
