Yes Spin 2 will be very much like Spin 1.
It will have enhancements to handle the larger memory of the Prop II and many other new features in the PII.
One big change is that the Spin interpreter is no longer in ROM on the PII, rather it is included in the user program binary when you compile your code. But that makes no difference to the language itself and users need not worry about it.
Basically Spin II does not exist yet, Parallax are still working on these PII things.

In concept, Spin II will substantially be an extension of Spin i, not a shift in major features of grammer, syntax, and style. After all, Chip Gracy created Spin because of some very strong personal preferences of what a microcontroller language could and should be.

The main differences in Spin II will be additions to provide utility to new additional features. For the new user, that means that first learning Spin I is a reasonable and useful point of entry. Spin II will just be an extension of their skills and knowledge.

Since the Propeller Manual Ver 1.01 is available in Simplified Chinese, that provides a good start. But you will have to check with Ver 1.20 in English for certain corrections.
