Fresh Polish Kielbasa with horseradish and homemade German Potato salad, simple but divine.

Swanson turkey potpie and Nehi cranberry soda, eaten over the sink so I wouldn't make a mess in front of the TV. Oh, and a blueberry Pop Tart (they don't do pumpkin flavor) for dessert. ('Just kidding. It's what I used to tell my mom in my younger days when she worried about me over those holidays I wasn't able to make it home. Somehow, I don't think it helped. :) )

    Merry Christmas, all!

The "over the sink" part is a nice touch to add for mom!

Free 'Holiday Meal' at work tonight. I can attest that there is no such thing as a free lunch, at least not a GOOD free lunch. Your choice, undercooked chicken or stringy roast beef. Even the pumpkin pie tasted 'off'. Kind of felt bad throwing most of it in the trash. Looking forward to getting home in the morning for a big breakfast.

My dear wife, while "under the weather", prepared spinach/cheese ravioli and cream sauce.

Well, I just had a McD's double cheeseburger, fries, and a Zero cola. Of course, I could have had Chinese food, but I eat that everyday.

Pork ribs prepared in the special Yule tradition, and also lamb ribs. Dessert: Cloudberries with cream.

I have friends from Norway. Cloudberries are a national treasure there, which I've been privileged to sample. They really are amazing.
