With our ELEV-8 quad-copters, of course. That's me in the foreground (who flips his quad at the 0:21 mark). The video is shot by Rick Galinson from his quad using a GoPro. You can see Rick in one of the shots -- near the street. He felt more comfortable leaning against a trash bin while flying FPV.

Happy Holidays from your buddies in Hollywood! (BTW... the Hollywood sign is just on the other side of that hill you see in the video).

As anyone can plainly see, I'm still a beginner and I hadn't flown in about a month. When I flip my quad the ground is always involved.

We had a great time; perfect Los Angeles weather on Christmas Eve (near 80 degrees with clear skies).

We did. It's a beautiful day in our area today -- was perfect for flying.

    I'll say!

I have already chopped up two truck loads of leaves AND plowed 300' of 8" snow. You still have leaves on the trees!

    (Envious) :)

Cool video and I can attest to the fine LA weather. I ran 6 miles today, my annual total is now 999 miles. Tomorrow I hit 1000+ and check off THAT New Year's resolution. :)

    Jon,

You two fly better than I do. :innocent:

Rick is much better than I am -- he taught me. The good news is that he's not nervous around me when I'm flying anymore. In the early days, he wanted at least 20' stand-off between us and my quad. Now he trusts me to fly it in and land it close to change a battery.

Yeah, I am still at the point of flying alone out here away from everyone. =) I won't be doing any demonstrations for some time, for everyone's safety. :innocent:

Yeah, fortunately for me, I've never done that. Or anyone else's car, for that matter. Yet. :innocent:

Thanks for sharing! I will admit that there is something addictive about blowing leaves around. When I help at the church once a month and use the backpack blower to "rake the leaves", I rather enjoy it. This also makes me think that your next video should involve the Elev-8s and some sort of crop-circles. Perhaps "leaf circles" ? So, here's the challenge: Make some sort of identifiable image in a pile of leaves using the Elev-8.
